Members’ News & Prayer letter October 2007

Greetings from all at Grace Singles, and we hope you are well.

Since our last newsletter, God has been teaching me a great deal about grace. It is over five years since Grace Holidays began, and four years since the start of the Christian Singles ministry, but only now am I really beginning to understand why God had us call the Ministry Grace Holidays and Grace Singles.

As you may know, Grace Holidays was born during a time of bereavement, so it seemed this was an appropriate name at the time. But recently, I have begun to realize that God had more in mind for us, and that there is a depth of God’s grace that is unfathomable and glorious, beyond our wildest imagination, which is available to each one of us - and it was purchased at Calvary.

I believe God is leading His people world-wide into a close experience of His grace than at any other time in history. I believe He is about to pour out His grace upon us in such a way that we will never be the same again. I also believe that we are about to enter a new phase of knowledge of His great love for us, causing us in return to fall deeper in love with Jesus.

And it is with all this in my heart just now that I write this October News and Prayer letter, thinking and praying for you, that you too will come to know in a deeper way the God of grace who sent His precious Son Jesus to die in our place.

It is always a privilege on each holiday and short break to spend time studying the scriptures and praying together, and to hear testimonies of how God is setting people free through of the ministry of Grace Singles. This is due 100% to the amazing grace of God and 0% of what we could earn or deserve, and we give God all the glory for the things He is doing.

As you will notice, this letter has taken a slightly different format, in that I have not given you a list of up-coming holidays here, but please see the enclosed information for those details. Instead I am asking for your prayers, and to leave these request with you, so that we can pray together for God’s blessing and protection for the coming months.

Please will you pray:

Mondays:
For wisdom and guidance in the general running of Grace Holidays. That we will be more knowledgeable and discerning in all matters. That wise decisions will be made to the benefit of God’s people and that will bring God the highest praise.

Tuesdays:
For protection from all hindrance to God’s work. For barriers to come down, and for new doors that seem closed to us to suddenly swing open.

Wednesdays:
For our love for Jesus to grow deeper and stronger, so that we can in turn minister to others. For all staff both full time and part time to experience a deeper walk with God on a personal level.

Thursdays:
For vision and inspiration, that God will show us His plans for the future. That He will give us new and exciting destinations prepared in advance by His hand. That we may see Him at work in all aspect of our planning.

Fridays:
For finance to be available that we may provide the highest standards at all times in all we do, thus bringing honour and glory to God.

Saturdays:
For all Grace Singles members throughout the UK, Channel Islands, and overseas. Pray for those you may know by name, that God will meet their needs.

Sundays:
For a greater desire to worship the One who is worthy of our Praise. That we will learn how to worship – that God will lead Grace Singles Members to be a worshipping people desiring only His glory.

When God’s people pray, God moves into action. He is not a passive God who sits to watch us at work. He is a Champion God who is all victorious, and He will answer our requests with great swiftness and great delight!

So pray, and expect results!
