Grace Singles: Statement of Faith

We believe in One God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three in One, who by His Word created all things and by Him all things exist.

We believe that sin entered the world by deception and disobedience through Satan in the Garden of Eden, and that sin made all-time separation between man and a Holy God.

We believe that God so loved the world that He sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to be the Saviour of the world, that Jesus became flesh, fully God, yet fully man, and was born of the virgin Mary and lived among men to be our example, and to show us the way back to God.

We believe that Jesus was obedient to His Father’s will, and was crucified on a roman cross at Calvary, at the hands of sinful men, that Jesus gave up His life willingly as a once for all time sacrifice for sin.

We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, was and is the atonement for sin that was required by a Holy God for the sin of the world.

We believe that Jesus died to make the way open for man to have fellowship with God, and to restore our relationship with Him, so that we can call Him Father.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, that on the third day, an angel rolled back the stone of the garden tomb and Jesus rose victorious over sin and death, and that He is alive today.

We believe that Jesus appeared to over 500 people following His resurrection, including His disciples.

We believe that Jesus ascended into heaven, where He now sits in glory at the right hand of the Father, ever living to make intercession for us.

We believe in the Person and power of Holy Spirit who convinces men of sin, teaches, comforts, guides and protects, and empowers the child of God for service.

We believe in the resurrection of the dead, and in the rapture of the saints, that the dead in Christ shall rise first, that those who remain shall be caught up with them in the air, and shall be forever with the Lord.

We believe in the imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ, that He will return triumphantly to take His rightful place as King of Kings.

We believe He will judge the quick and the dead, and that all will stand before Him, and that at the Name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, both small and great.

We believe that all men everywhere should repent of their sin, call on God for forgiveness and salvation, and be baptised in obedience to the Word of God.

We believe the Bible to be the infallible Word of God, written by men, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and whose authority is final.

We believe it is the responsibility of every believer to proclaim Christ, and to serve and encourage one another until Jesus returns.

We believe God requires His people to live Holy lives, spotless and without blame in this present world, and to preach the Word to a dying and lost world.
